STYLE SAVES BRINGS BACK-TO-SCHOOL MAGIC TO MIAMI BEACH DURING A FUN-FILLED WEEKEND TO SUPPORT 15,000 SOUTH FLORIDA STUDENTS.

The signs that summer is slipping into its last phase and kids are heading back to school are unmistakable. The traffic slowly starts picking up. Big-name retailers replace racks stacked with beach towels and swimsuits with notebooks and pencils. Soon, the buzz begins to spread about an exciting annual event that combines philanthropy, fashion, and local celebrities. The 14th annual Style Saves Back-to-School event is set to dazzle students and families, boasting a whimsical Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory theme that is designed to be a golden opportunity to stock up on fun items before the first bell rings. Hosted by the Miami-based nonprofit organization led by Rachael Russel Saiger and Isabela Grutman, this year’s celebration will take place at the expansive Miami Beach Convention Center on August 10-11, promising an unforgettable weekend filled with fun activities all while providing essential back-to-school items for underprivileged students across South Florida.

With an anticipated increase in student participation, the move from the previous venue to the Miami Beach Convention Center offers more space for a truly immersive experience. The Style Saves team has worked diligently to ensure 15,000 students receive new uniforms, sneakers, school supplies, and accessories. The weekend will feature an array of delightful attractions, including a petting zoo by Tinez Farms, bounce houses, magicians, balloon animals, activity stations, a 360 Photo Booth, haircuts and styling by IGK Calla Blow Bar, arts and crafts by The Poppet Project, and a slime station by Tiny Artisan Events.

“At Style Saves, we believe in the power of fashion to uplift and create positive change,” said Rachael Russel Saiger, co-founder of the organization. “Our annual Back-to-School event embodies these values by supporting students and families in need, ensuring they start the school year with confidence and the necessary supplies.”

The event is not just about providing material support but also about creating a joyful and engaging environment for families. Special guests like Bernie from The Miami Heat will add to the festive atmosphere. Additionally, various sponsors and partners, including the City of Miami Beach Police Department and Fire Department, GROOT Hospitality, Sobe Promos, HypeMakerz, Stitch Lab, and Kat Sanz Production, are contributing to making this event a success. Attendees will also enjoy refreshments from local favorites like Pueblito Viejo, GoPuff, Frito Lay, Liquid Death, Pamela Wasabi, DBakers, The Taco Stand, Velvet Tacos, Thierry Isambert Catering, Carrot Express, Essentia Water, Sweet Green, Bubba Ice, and more.

The weekend festivities will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days, providing ample time for families to enjoy all the activities and gather the necessary school supplies.

Founded with the mission of supporting the youth through fashion, Style Saves has grown into a community of creatives committed to making a difference. “We are in a relentless pursuit to provide youths and their families with essential goods, from school backpacks to nutritious meals, to increase academic achievement,” said Isabela Grutman, co-founder of Style Saves.

Don’t miss out on this magical weekend that promises to be both heartwarming and fun-filled, setting the tone for a successful school year ahead.
